LIfe November 29, 2008

Life is strange. I worry about my kids so much. Of course it does absolutely NO good to worry as they will do as they will do since they are all over 18 now. We had a very nice Thanksgiving on Thursday with everyone there. Food was good, I didn't even cook which was unusual. I was sick but today, Saturday, I am much much better. Stupid cold.
I just realized I don't have lesson plans ready for the day after tomorrow. I guess I'll be going to school on Sunday after the kids leave. Oh well it shouldn't take me long to figure it out. I was so intent on getting two days sub plans ready that I didn't even think of the following Monday. It sure is a good thing I haven't worked this past week or I would have been home sick anyway.
We now have three children getting married next year. My son in June 09, my daughter Oct 09 and his son in between there somewhere, they haven't set the date yet but he wants it BEFORE the football season.

I am looking for ideas to use in the classroom for teaching reading to grades 7 and 8 as well as high school struggling readers at high school level . I would like to use technology somehow
